Item Description
A gorgeous and glorious, bi-colored gemmy and lustrous, doubly terminated tourmaline from the famed Cruzeiro Mine. The stunning translucent, rich raspberry-red at both terminations is a fabulous contrast to the beautiful layered gemmy green of the mid-section. This style and rich color are some of the most desirable Cruzeiro elbaites and are seldom on the market. Complete all-around and pristine, this is an oustanding old-time example from the 1960s or 70s finds from the mineral collection of world-class collector Steve Smale. 36 grams mass. Valued at $3000 and worth it. The crystal GLOWS, when backlit!
