Item Description
From the old Clyde Hardin Collection, this 1980s showy Stak Nala tourmaline is bi-colored and doubly terminated. The lustrous, well-striated body is translucent to opaque, dark olive-green. A 6 mm zone at one termination is a gemmy, pretty bottle-green, with a very thin teal-blue layer, just below the lustrous, frosted, pinacoidal termination. The other termination is broken, healed and regrown. The embedded cleavelandite blades are a nice accent. Complete all-around and nearly pristine, the primary termination has a trivial bit of edge wear. Showy and excellent material from the most famous tourmaline locality in Pakistan. 25 grams.
