A striking, uncommon and impressive dense plate of bi-colored tabular barite spearpoints from the famous Baia Sprie Mine. The very glassy, highly lustrous, translucent, unusual greenish-gray barite blades are all capped with "snow" of white barite, adding much character. The interior is nearly pristine, with only a few bruised blades and the periphery wear is certainly acceptable in the context of this species. A fascinating, uncommon and excellent Romanian barite. Classic material. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!
