Bi-colored Apophyllite, Stilbite and drusy Chalcedony (excellent)

Item Description

This impressive, very well-prepared large vug is dominated by a striking, 6.0 cm, doubly terminated, bi-colored apophyllite. The four-sided pyramidal termination is a colorless, water-clear gem above the glassy, translucent, pastel-green body. Scattered pearlescent, salmon-pink, stilbite blades to 3.5 cm (doubly terminated) are a super compliment. The rugged vug interior is covered with drusy, popcorn chalcedony and smaller apophyllites and a few stilbites. Dramatic and fine large combination material from Jalgaon, which sets the standard for excellent combination zeolite specimens. Valued at $700-800.
