Item Description

A beautiful bi-color pink and blue Tourmaline crystal from the famous Cruzeiro Mine. The piece is very sharp and highly lustrous on all sides, with good internal gemminess and a lovely mix of colors showing a pink "core" at the base, surrounded by gemmy blue "Indicolite" which transitions into a sold blue color in the upper portion and finished off with a lovely pink basal "cap". There is a small imperfection on the edge of the termination and a bit of incomplete growth along one edge where another crystal might have grown, but the piece is in great shape overall. Tourmalines are beloved for their size, gemminess and the fact that they are one of few naturally bi-colored (or multi-colored) minerals in the world. Specimen weight is 6.71 grams.
