Item Description
A beautiful, rarely seen, old classic example of the famous Propst Farm Sapphires featuring a sharp, lustrous, translucent, euhedral hexagonal prism that shows a combination of dark blue and pink hues! Bi-colored Sapphires are rare from most localities, but this might be the first one I've seen from Propst Farm. The piece is in good shape overall, though there is a contact on the back corner near the termination. This is one of the best examples I've seen from this locality and would make a wonderful addition to any thumbnail suite, a collection of gem crystals or specimens from the United States. Specimen weight is 4.02 grams.
