Item Description

This is a bright and sparkling specimen rich with Beudantite crystals from Tsumeb, and they are unusually perched on numerous radiating balls of Goethite. This vuggy piece has numerous openings lined with glistening, trigonal crystals of 1 to 2 mm, reddish brown Beudantite that are relatively isolated showing off their crystal forms. Beudantite is a relatively uncommon and complex lead-iron arsenate-sulfate and Tsumeb has arguably produced some of the world's best crystals. This is very good and representative piece for the species and the locality.
