Item Description
This old German mine has yielded unusual and uncommon phosphates and arsenates, including rare pseudomorphs. Brown beudantite (Pb arsensate) has pseudomorphed sharp, hexagonal, pyromorphite crystals in the upper lefthand corner of this rich combination specimen. Much of the rest of the surface has a strange looking cellular or tubular form and is composed of yellow to brown hinsdalite (Pb phosphate). Not pretty to look at, but a rare and rich pseudomorph from this locale with unusual form.
