Item Description

A sharp, light brown, betafite crystal with waxy luster from the Lake Baikal area and the Fersman Museum. This outstanding and textbook octahedral example of the species is a complete all-around floater with the contacting out of sight on the back. Older materal marketed in the early 1990s, when the Fersman first came to the US. Valued at $150-200.
