Unusually sharp, lustrous and well-developed, chocolate-brown, betafite crystals to a large 2.2 cm are nicely clustered on this classic specimen from the well-known Silver Crater Mine at Bancroft. This is a SUPERB and rare specimen, today. Most specimens of this quality came out in the 1950s, during the active mining period. Ex Larry Krause dealer stock.
