Item Description
Classic sharp glassy, tranparent to translucent beta-style (bipyramidal) quartz crystals are aesthetically set atop this sculptural small cabinet combination from the famous Nikolaevskiy Mine at Dalnegorsk. The dominating quartz crystal is 1.9 cm tall. A glassy, translucent, 2.8 x 2.6 cm calcite rhomb with striking stepped-growth faces and silky lustre faces is an excellent accessory on this showy and excellent combination. Nearly all of the many quartz crystals are pristine, with the gently bruised tips to the two largest crystals certainly being only a modest detraction. Hot pink calcite fluorescence. Sharp beta-style quartz pieces with calcite of this quality are uncommon from here.
