Item Description
Berzeliite is a very rare member of the Garnet Structural Group and the famous Langban deposite is the Type Locality. Gemmy and lustrous, golden-amber crystals to 4 mm cover the matrix of rare for the locale, magnetite. This is an extremely rich and excellent example of the rare species in combination with magnetite. The crystals have moderate orange fluorescence. Ex Will Henderson Collection.
