Item Description

Berzeliite is an extremely rare sodium, calcium, magnesium arsenate and is a member of the Garnet Structural Group. The famous Langban deposit is the Type Locality. A 2.0 cm pod of lustrous, rich-yellow, berzeliite crystals is attractively set on the contrasting calcite matrix. Bright red fluorescence on the calcite. Old classic and fine material from the Per Larsson and Stig Adolfsson Collections.
