Item Description
This very rare copper selenide is named after Jons Jakob Berzelius, who was the father of analytical chemistry, and the inventor of chemical symbol notation for the periodic table. He also discovered selenium, thormium, zirconium, titanium, silicon and cerium. This specimen is from the famous and now closed Bukov Uranium Mine in the Czech Republic. Dark semi-metallic, slightly bluish-grey groups of Berzelianite in pinkish carbonite matrix. A great opportunity for rare species collectors to pick up a very worthwhile piece of this extremely hard to find material. This piece is the only one of these specimens that we have to offer right now, and I don't know when we'll have another in the inventory.
