Item Description
Beryllonite is a very rare phosphate, and for a long time the only known cut gems came from Maine. In recent years there have been other discoveries of gem quality Beryllonite from places like Brazil and Afghanistan, but the old classic material from Stoneham is most desirable for collectors. It's important to note that the first pieces of Beryllonite ever found came from this locality. This stone is a superb quality example of this rare classic material. It is a crystal clear, colorless, stone with a "modified triangle" cut. If you collect rare gems, and you've been looking for a good Beryllonite to add to your collection, don't pass this one up for a great price.
