Item Description
A superb crystal with unusually good terminations and form, especially for a Brazilian example of this rare species of berllium rich mineral: this beryllonite specimen is highlighted by a doubly-terminated, lustrous and translucent, colorless crystal, measuring 3 cm in length, attached to a shard of massive beryllonite or partial crystal. The major crystal is terminated with a flat basal termination on one end, and a sharp cerussite-like termination on the other. It looks like a Tsumeb cerussite! In fact, if you were not holding this in your hand to feel its light weight, you would think from the photo that this WAS a Tsumeb cerussite. From a small pocket found in June of 2011. Valued $750-1000
