Well-formed beryl crystals, such as this impressive, large crystal, are rare and seldom available from the famous Palermo No. 1 Mine. The textbook hexagonal, pastel yellow-green, crystal has fine luster and is moderately translucent. Complete all-around. A trivial bit of termination edge wear is noted, but is certainly a very minimal detraction to this important rarity from this classic locale. Ex Robert Whitmore Collection. Value??
