Item Description

Before Pakistan, most people turned to Brazil to get their hands on Aquamarine crystals. Most Brazilian Aquas are single crystals, off matrix, and rarely sharp and lustrous. This piece is a good sharp, lustrous, single crystal with a very soft powdery blue hue at the base, but the termination is GEM quality in areas with a very attractive blue hue. There are a few nicks around the edge of the termination, but it doesn't take away from the overall quality of the piece. Minor associated Muscovite can be seen at the base of the piece, and it's certainly a worthwhile example of this now hard to find material. A great piece for any gem crystal collector, a collector of Beryls, or even an admirer of Brazilian minerals. Valued at $1500.
