Beryl var. Morganite with Tourmaline and Lepidolite ex Meieran

Fine morganites from Afghanistan are few and far between today, seemingly more common in the early 2000s than now. Nicknamed "the mirror", this specimen showcases a front and center, perfectly symmetrical morganite that looks like it is held up as if a reflecting mirror on a stand, on a natural pedestal of mixed lepidolite and tourmaline. It is perfectly balanced and symmetrical, 4.25 cm across or tall, and oriented perfectly on the matrix to sit on its own. As there is no matrix on much of the backside of the crystal, as it was trimmed out, light comes right through and this is sparkler and gemmier than most. The crystal is very gemmy, with a rich pink-peach color to it, and the combination of sharpness, geometry, and color combined with translucency makes it stand out.
