Item Description
A gorgeous, gemmy, pale pink, thick, tabular, hexagonal hydrothermally ethced Beryl (var: Morganite) crystal from Brazil. The piece was a somewhat difficult to photograph, but it is fairly gemmy, and shows a beautiful sculptural form. Interestingly, there are some very smooth, lustrous, un-etched faces on the piece (mostly on each pinacoid), so there is a unique dichotomy between the graceful etching pattern and the glassy un-etched faces. An eye-catching gem crystal of this classic material from one of the most famous gem producing regions in the world. Wonderful form, luster and gemminess. Weight is 80.79 grams. Valued at $650.
