Item Description

An OLD-TIME, lustrous, translucent yellow heliodor crystal from the famous Slocum Quarry in East Hampton, Connecticut. While this crystal has been removed from its matrix, resulting in some wear, it still retains good luster on its preserved side faces, indicating that it was originally a well-crystallized specimen. It's important to note that the termination has been sliced and polished but the combination of its large size, intense color, and historical locality makes it a truly special piece, particularly appealing to locality collectors.
