This gem quality heliodor beryl has fantastic lemon-yellow color and luster, and looks like a water-sculpted gem carving! It comes from the gem rough mines of Brazil, known for gem crystal finds. Along the length of the crystal, unexpected ridges look like separated segments on a caterpillar - unusual form and something that definitely makes this one stand out amongst most "typical" heliodor forms in any collection. The surface is super lustrous; features glassy terminations. This crystal is water clear and a complete floater. Much better in person as it is hard to convey by photo. Mass is 17.47g. Valued $2000 - and if seen in person, you would agree.
