Item Description

This locality dates back to the 1840's and is certainly one of the more noteworthy Beryl producers in New England. This piece features a few soft yellow color Heliodor crystals with sharp faces, good form, and all three crystals are actually terminated. Some minor feldspar is attached near the center to help distinguish it as Strickland. From the collection of Allen Heyl, a geologist from Colorado, and the namesake for the phosphate Aheylite.
