Item Description

A fine combination piece from the famous Mt. Xuebaoding in China, consisting of Beryl, Feldspar, and Muscovite all together !The Beryls are tabular, hexagonal crystals, of clear, totally gemmy Goshenite, which is the colorless variety of Beryl. Goshenite is actually quite a bit more rare than the blue variety, Aquamarine. The largest Goshenite is 2.2 cm across, and it is accompanied by lustrous white Felspars to 2.6 cm, and sharp books of Muscovite. Excellent aesthetics to this fine miniature, and the more you look at it the more you will find to appreciate. From the extensive collection of Bob Reynolds, who cherished both minerals and fossils as he collected. Bob is a prolific author and has had several curating positions in museums.
