Item Description
A stout, 5.0 x 1.7 cm, gem, colorless goshenite crystal aesthetically rests upright behind a porch of bladed cleavelandite and is flanked by a tabular quartz crystal on this fine combination specimen from the Herb Obodda dealer stock. The very sharp crystal edges are typically frosted, but the crystal is exceptionally water-clear. The slight ding on the goshenite edge by the quartz termination is barely noticeable and the ding on the back is not visible from the front. Herb valued this piece at $500, five or more years ago. It displays beautifully and is worth $700-900 today. Fine, large goshenites such as this are much rarer than morganites.
