Item Description
While Pakistan is world-renowned for its amazing Aquamarine crystals, the colorless Goshenite crystals (another variety of Beryl) are notably rare from the various pegmatites in the Shigar Valley. This piece is a wonderful association specimen featuring a GEMMY, colorless, well-formed, hexagonal prismatic crystal of Goshenite measuring 2.3 cm, with an additional accenting Goshenite on the side of a dark green prismatic, translucent Tourmaline crystal, plus minor white Albite and golden Muscovite for a nice touch. The main Goshenite is actually doubly-terminated, though the lower termination is not 100% complete. This particular combo of Beryl and Tourmaline together from Pakistan is fairly rare, and to find Goshenite with Tourmaline is notably hard to find in my experience. A beautiful and showy combo piece from this famed specimen-producing area. Valued $1,250.
