Beryl var. Goshenite & Muscovite (superb)

A stunning, pristine, rare, Goshenite (colorless) Beryl crystal is dramatically set upright on the end of the delightful, large, mounded, sculptural matrix of ghostly white, pearlescent muscovite blades. The imposing, 7.1 x 6.3 x 2.0 cm, sharp, textbook, tabular, hexagonal crystal is very glassy, lustrous and transparent to translucent. The perpendicular muscovite blades embedded on the back of the beryl are a super accessory to this exceptional and aesthetic combination. Tabular Beryls are rare in nature. Bill is a famous California mine owner of the Himalaya Mine among others; and mineral collector and dealer and gemologist. Long on display at his Fallbrook shop, this has been in the flagship beryl educational collection they built in the 1970s and later.
