Item Description
China has a lot to offer mineralogically speaking, including some beautiful specimens of Emerald. This piece features a partial crystal group of beautiful medium green colored Emerald measuring 6.0 cm on grey Calcite and dark grey-black schist matrix. The Emerald is not damage-free, it has separation marks where it was peeled away from the pocket wall, but the color and size are good for the locality, and this is a nice reference specimen to add to any worldwide Beryl suite or a collection of Chinese minerals.
