Item Description
Some of the most vivid blue color Aquamarine crystals ever found are those from the Erongo Mountains in Namibia. This piece is a showy and three-dimensional thumbnail featuring a few gorgeous blue colored, hexagonal prisms measuring up to 1.8 cm long with sharp, lustrous, well-formed faces and good internal gemminess, associated with contrasting black Schorl, and a bit of iron oxide (Limonite/Goethite) in spots. Great quality, no major damage and really eye-catching.
From the collection of David E Ziga, a geologist who graduated Miami (of Ohio) University in 2017, with a mineralogy background.
