Beryl var: Aquamarine with Schorl

Item Description

The Aquamarine crystals from Erongo have some of the richest blue color you'll see in the species, they're almost too blue to be called Aquamarine, they're more like "Blue Beryl"! With that said, these crystals have been coming out for the better part of the 21st century and they are often incredibly well-formed with larger than average sized crystals that not only have captivating color, but often above average gemminess. This piece is a fine, sharp, gemmy, single hexagonal prism of Aquamarine, which is accenting with a handful of contrasting jet-black Schorl crystals measuring up to 1.3 cm across, and no matrix. There are some small nicks around the termination, so the piece is not 100% damage-free, but it's still very presentable and that color just grabs you from across the room, especially with the attractive Schorl crystals which really "pop".
