Item Description
An aesthetic cabinet specimen from the famed Shigar Valley featuring a sharp, well-formed, gemmy, beautiful icy blue color hexagonal prism of Aquamarine, measuring 3.0 cm, flaring out a matrix composed of white Albite and silvery-golden colored bladed "roses" of Muscovite. The main crystal is partially etched on the termination, and I can also see an indentation where it grew against the pocket wall, but it's not broken. A lovely example of these wonderful classic Aquas from this world-renowned area that has produced some of the finest examples of the blue variety of Beryl ever found. Ex Brian Kosnar dealer stock.
