No matter how you look at it, this is an impressive Aqua from the famous locality of Dassu in the Himalayas. The luster of this single crystal is superb, and the nice medium blue color is enhanced by the fact that the crystal is easily half-gemmy. The termination is excellent, and it has just a minimal amount of edgewear. Intergrown, well-formed Muscovite crystals decorate the presentation side, and there are even three tabular Beryls that are intergrown mid-way and at the base. The mass of this is 561 grams, much of it gemmy Aqua. Comes with a custom base, and valued at $6,000.
