Gorgeous, 1.6 cm, blue Aquamarine rising dramatically from a matrix of Feldspar and Muscovite. The Aqua is gem clear and glassy. The termination is perfection, and looking down the C-axis is like looking down into a swimming pool of clear, still water. The termination is even beveled, with two of the faces have a preferential coating that adds interest and body to this terrific crystal. Amazing for the size and balance! A few Quartz crystals are missing from the matrix, but the outstanding aesthetics are not at all affected, since all eyes are on this captivating Aqua. From the extensive collection of Bob Reynolds, who cherished both minerals and fossils as he collected. Bob is a prolific author and has had several curating positions in museums.
