Item Description

This piece is not from a contemporary find, but rather was mined in the early 1990s. This large miniature / small cabinet specimen is a translucent, multi-crystal group of soft blue color Aquamarine crystals with good luster. The largest individual crystal measures about 2.5 cm long. The attractive form of the multiple crystals creates a pleasing "spray" of Aquamarine that is unusual for the material. The terminations of the crystals have a slight drusy/sugary appearance, which is also unusual for Aquamarine. The crystals have defined, sharp, hexagonal form and there is very little damage to be seen.
