Item Description

Here we have a fantastic Aquamarine crystal dating back to the early 2000s from the Quỳ Châu District in Vietnam. You can see the piece features a RARE scepter habit, which is quite uncommon in Beryl, and it's the ONLY one of its kind that I've seen from this locality. The piece is very gemmy with fairly saturated blue color for the size, and the upper portion has glassy smooth faces with virtually WATER-CLEAR clarity. A really unique and desirable specimen for any fan of Beryls or gem crystals.
From the collection of Bill ("Burma Bill") Larson of Fallbrook, California. Bill is a well-known gem and mineral dealer (Pala International) as well as a miner and collector. Bill traveled the world for decades in search of fine gems and minerals, and was directly involved in the in-person acquisition and importation of superb specimens from many important gem-producing localities.
