The famed Shigar Valley in Pakistan is renowned for producing amazing crystals of Aquamarine. With that said, I feel like Nyet (in the Braldu Valley) doesn't get enough attention for producing choice Aquas over the years. A lot of crystals simply are labeled as coming from the Shigar Valley, which is perfectly fine, as there are countless little discoveries that have been made which never get named, but the pieces that are specifically found at Nyet are often a higher caliber than their counterparts from other places around Shigar. This piece is a stellar GEM PENCIL with optic clarity, a very light blue color and razor sharp prism faces which grade into a modified termination with multiple pyramidal faces. No damage that I can see (save the bottom where it detached from the pocket wall), and just beautiful for both its condition and visual appeal. Specimen weight is 2.28 grams.
