Item Description
Beryl specimens from Sakhan-gyi are not common on the market, and this piece is one of the most unusual and interesting crystals I've seen from the locality. It honestly would be just as equally interesting and special regardless of the locality as the habit/style is incredibly distinctive. This GEM quality, icy blue crystal features razor-sharp, incredibly well-formed, smooth lustrous faces, on the upper portion, which transitions into an etched, translucent style at the base. The upper portion of the crytal is notably compressed/tabular in one direction as well, making it all the more enticing. Several fine pyramidal termination faces along with one small basal pinacoid can be seen on the crystal, which look beautiful in person. A really unique and appealing gem crystal specimen that is totally one-of-a-kind, you won't find another quite like it regardless from the locality. Specimen weight is 4.79 grams. Valued $1,500.
