A large and gemmy, pale sky-blue, 3.9cm Aquamarine crystal serves as the centerpiece for this attractive gem cluster. This big, lustrous crystal has sharp edges and faces with small pyramidal faces for accent at the flat, perfect termination. It is largely gemmy with wispy, ethereal inclusions for added aesthetics. The remainder of the cluster comprises a parallel trio of gemmy Aquamarine crystals to 3cm that are also gemmy internally, and then most of the prism faces and terminations are frosted with fine white microcrystalline Quartz. There is a touch of frosting in a small patch at the top of the big crystal. A few partial, silvery Muscovite crystals are located at the base in front. This cluster has an interesting history in that it experienced a pocket rupture episode in the pegmatite as the Quartz "frosting" coats not only the much of the side crystals but also the entire bottom of the cluster subsequent to being separated from the initial matrix!
