Item Description

A classic example of both etched and somewhat skeletal features in an Aquamarine crystal from Brazil that are not uncommon in the Pedra Azul pegmatite district of Brazil. This aqua blue crystal is more heavily etched at one end and much less so at the other where there is a good termination present. Half of the crystal has been largely etched leaving an elongate portion of crystal extending away from the more complete portion. The entire crystal is lustrous and transparent to translucent and is quite handsome! This blue beauty has a mass of 12.67 grams.
