Beryl var. Aquamarine

A fine, antique ancient aquamarine crystal almost certainly from the famous 1800s era finds here, as Bill Larson told me that he personally traded this out of a museum when he went to Russia in the late 1980s. It has been in his personal collection of beryls ever since. The piece is shockingly well preserved despite its age. It has a classic blue-greenish color of these old beryls, famous from the old world lapidary and gem industry. They predated Brazilian aquas! The crystal is almost totally transparent and pristine, with a fine termination (the termination is complete, with tiny etch patterns at edges - also going to prove it is natural, not polished). This crystal is 73 grams. It has been with the Larson family collection for nearly 40 years (an old 1970s-1980s style linoleum plastic label of style used in California and Tucson displays at the time, is included).
