Beryl var. Aquamarine

From old vintage, probably 1960s and before, this is a really strange and interesting aquamarine crystal showing tubes, stripes, and really hoppered growth features at the terminations. If you like beryls and weird aquamarines this will be endlessly fascinating to stare at! 155 grams, so it is not small. The video shows the form well. It is somehow hard to capture the color in photos....sometimes faintly bluish in room light and sometimes not (as you see it looks yellowish in the light we used for photography for some reason), depending on the light (perhaps the tubular patterns mess with reflected light, within). We suggest go by the video for color. OLD material from the Al Kidwell collection.
