Item Description

The beautiful Aquamarine crystals from the Erongo Mountains of Namibia will go down as classics, and some of the best examples of this variety of Beryl ever found. This piece features a pair of crystals of Aquamarine with a rich blue color at the base and a lighter blue shade on the upper portions. The darker blue sections are somewhat translucent, but the lighter blue ends are virtually WATER-CLEAR. The crystals are sharp and lustrous with textbook hexagonal prismatic form and a bit of associated black Schorl and cream colored Feldspar for a great touch. Very good condition, but there is a separation mark on the base where the piece was detached from the host rock.
