Item Description
A RARE Colorado beryl crystal from an obscure locale in Clear Creek County. The large, sharp, hexagonal crystal is blue-green and is partially translucent. Complete all-around. Iron oxides are embedded in the crystal faces and the back edge of the termination is a bit rough. MINDAT does not list beryl for Squaw Mountain. A must for the Colorado or species collector. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection and purchased in Denver in 1979. It was collected prior to 1965, according his label. A rare old-timer!
