Item Description

Mineral specimens of ANY type are extremely rare from this very obscure pegmatite in the Chihuahua Valley of San Diego County! An aesthetic 4.3 cm cluster of gem, light green beryl crystals is jauntily set on the blocky albite matrix accented with a few muscovite plates. The beryls have lightly etched prism faces, but the termination faces are water-clear. Very fine and very rare combination material self-collected by Al Ordway in 2006. A must for the San Diego County pegmatite collector. Value???
