Item Description

A hard to find, yet notably well-formed and sharp, prismatic hexagonal Beryl crystal from the locally famous Centennial Cone Pegmatite on the front range of the Colorado Rockies. The piece shows slight blue color in areas, but is mostly a golden color on the exterior. The piece comes from the collection of Allen Heyl, a geologist and family friend of the Kosnars for whom the species Aheylite was named.
