Item Description
A classic old time Beryl crystalfrom this most famous of Russian localities. The piece is a sharp, lustrous, GEM QUALITY, hexagonal prism with a beautiful pyramidal termination, free of matrix. The color is a very pale blue hue, but it has a bit of iron on the surface, creating a yellow hue, but it's not a Heliodor. Great quality overall, and a fantastic example of these now seldom seen Beryls. Good Russian Beryl specimens on matrix are always in demand, and considered classics.
