Bertrandite (sharp crystals!)

Dozens upon dozens of excellent Bertrandite crystals populate this very rich plate. The Bertandites, which range up to .4 cm in length, have a very good, striated luster and quite unique elliptical cross-section, with sharp, flat terminations. However, colorless crystals on a light tan matrix makes for very difficult photos. The specimen is an order of magnitude better in person. A really terrific Bertrandite for the species, as crystals are usually more acicular and opaque than you see here. valued $400
