Bertrandite (rare), Tourmaline, Albite & Quartz (Strauss Coll.)

Item Description

Bertrandite, Be-silicate, is EXTREMELY RARE from Pakistan and is known only from Stak Nala, famed for beautiful bi-colored tourmalines. This very sculptural combination features a few very hard to see, 1-4 mm tabular, gem colorless crystals hidden in the cavity between the two classic tourmalines and adjacent to the quartz crystals. The cute and classic 8 mm terminated tourmaline is aesthetically attached to the side of a frosted cleavelandite crystal and the gemm golden-yellow tourmaline is 2.3 cm long. The sharp glassy quartz crystals are attached to sharp, large, bone-white albite crystals. A very surprising and RARE 360-degree combination from the Christian Rewitzer and Uwe Strauss Collection.
