Item Description

This well-known extinct tungsten greissen deposit is famous for outstanding creedite, smoky quartz and combination specimens of fluorapatite, fluorite and bertrandite. Rich bertrandite specimens, such as this are RARE. This is a very dense and showy intergrown cluster of sharp, water-clear, colorless crystals with waxy luster and tapered edges. The two well-placed dominating crystals on the middle top are 1.0 cm and 9 mm. Scattered sharp pyrite and sphalerite crystals are a nifty accent to this fine and rich rarity, dating to the 1980s or 90s. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock and valued by Herb at $850 more than six years ago.
