Item Description
A rich and showy specimen of the uncommon iron phosphate from the Larry Krause dealer stock. The bubbly, botryoidal, rust-brown surface covers the beautifully chatoyant radial clusters of rust-red to golden-orange, acicular crystals. This is exceedingly rare material in such quality. These were found just once, I am told, in the 1960s. The specimen is from a pocket which produced probably the best of species for beraunite in the US. Classic and excellent Arkansas material.
